Administrative Assistant II

Marsha Scullark is the first voice a caller hears, and the first person a visitor sees when they enter the Arkansas State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) office suite.

As the SPDG Administrative Assistant, she provides administrative and office management support to the Grant Director and its staff.  She also provides support to others who work in the office from the Dawson Educational Cooperative and Easter Seals.  Marsha has completed multiple on-the-job training sessions, and she is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.

Marsha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hendrix College in Conway, AR.  She has been with Arkansas Department of Education, Special Education Unit since September 2010, and she joined the SPDG staff in July of 2011.

Since completing her undergraduate training, Marsha has demonstrated her passion for service, and shown an ongoing commitment to her community.  For example, she has volunteered her time with the United Way and the Watershed Human & Community Development Agency when she was previously employed with ABC Financial, Inc.  She now continues to volunteer at Children’s Hospital and in her church--helping her to translate her passions and interests into a clearer vision for her future.
